The video game adaptation of the Nikelodeon film, based on the series of children’s books by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black. Developed by Stormfront studios and published by Sierra Entertainment.
I played many roles in the audio development of The Spiderwick Chronicles. In addition to being the game’s Audio Director, I was also lead Sound Designer, and Composed the game's soundtrack.
The sometimes dark, fantasy setting and exploration-based gameplay allowed for a subdued and mysterious soundtrack, with sparse arrangements and haunting textures.
Likewise, the environments and characters were well-suited for detailed and nuanced sound design.
